CHARLES DICKENS
He was born in Portsmouth, England, on February 7, 1812. He was an out-standing writer and novelist Englishman.His mother was of middle class. Charles did not receive any education up to the age of nine years old.
He married Catherine Thompson Hogarth the one that had 10 children. Though they never managed to be divorced, Dickens and Hogarth separated legally after 22 years of marriage, Charles had another pair, Ellen Ternan.
He was and is known in the universal literature.
His novels and short statements had great popularity, and still today they are edited and adapt for the cinema habitually. He wrote serials, format that it was using in that epoch.
He was and is an influential writer all over the world.
Some of his more important novels are: Oliver Twist, Two Cities' Story, or A Christmas Carol.
He died in Gads Hill Place, England, on June 9, 1870.
